I very much appreciated this reading. I find I can hesitate to do things because I wonder if "it" is just my idea, if there isn't someone who would do "it" better, or I just feel tired. It seems to me that this SOLO book is gradually opening our eyes and ears to see and hear what God wants. Surely that is the start of something big! (or little). Besides the communications issues, I am now feeling drawn to doing something about member information (not alone!), and getting mission trips and a mission attitude more generally shared (part of Caring?). But surely not all now! How do I take which next step?
Ah, timing. Do I use it as an excuse? Am I open to the call of the Holy Spirit when it does come? Am I too quick to give an opinion when I need to give the Holy Spirit time to work in me? I hope I recognize the HOly Spirit working in me and respond. I found this passage most inspiring. Imagine Jesus saying this to the disciples and so to us!
