Today I'm thnking of several people for whom I have been praying over time who seem to be doing well now. Thank you, God, for restoring D and M to health and for J's new job after more than a year of looking. I'm thinking of all the gifts which are blessings of God's abundant mercy, and I thank God for all. I'm especially grateful to God for the friends at Grace, and especially in the Mary Circle. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Amen
Our mother's taught us to say, "Thank you" at an early age, but perhaps we neglect to thank the very people who are closest to us. And God! Who is the very closest. Sadly, I assume that he is there and that he knows I am grateful. The magnificent service that we had today at Grace made me twice as grateful and I DID find myself thanking him for his many, many blessings. Lord, help me to thank you for the large and small gifts that you've given.
