So often I say to myself that I can solve a problem by myself or try to solve one without proper preparation. Then find that it is monstrous and I need the help of Jesus. Rarely do I kneel, but I get to touch Jesus' hem symbolically, through prayer. How grateful I am to know that he is there. This week my indigent cousin in California died. Her ashes will be delivered to my door in a week or so. I need to touch Jesus' hem, once more. How do I handle this?
The faith of this woman is astounding! Maybe it is because I am re-reading "The Shack" now, but my strong vision is of Jesus' eyes - full of love. And full understanding. What to do with this? I am not sure. Regarding the issue Beverly mentions, can we as a group help?
Beverly, what places did your cousin love? What were her favorite things to do? I wouldn't keep her ashes but spread them - after a little memorial service or personal moment with God - in a place she loved. We could help and be with you. Arlene, thanks for reminding me of "The Shack". It brings back so many important concepts and ideas.
